New: Study in Europe resources on Find My Courses

More Irish students are thinking about doing their degree in Europe. To support them, findmycollegecourse.ie has launched a free Study in Europe section. It lists over 1,400 undergraduate courses taught entirely in English across 27 countries. For each course it sets out the Leaving Cert entry requirements, yearly fees, application deadlines and how to apply, so students and parents can compare options side by side. It's a practical starting point for students interested in lower or no tuition fees, entry without CAO points, or an international experience.

For students who aren't sure where to begin, the new European Courses Test takes about 20 minutes. It matches a student's interests to suitable European courses, filtered by the countries they would consider, their budget and how they would like to get in. Students can save a shortlist and download their results as a PDF.

A new guide, Studying in Europe: The Pros, Cons and What Irish Students Need to Know, is also available. It covers fees compared with Ireland, grants such as Denmark's SU, the different application systems and deadlines, and the challenges students should plan for.
