With the Irish Leaving Certificate approaching, students considering medicine or veterinary medicine abroad (and their parents) are being urged to begin their applications immediately, as some Polish universities are expected to close admissions as early as July.
StudyMedicinePoland.com has announced a new partnership with a leading grind school, the TuitionCentre.ie to launch a series of crash courses designed as Leaving Certificate revision and Q&A sessions specifically for Irish applicants to Polish medical and veterinary universities.
The initiative comes amid competition for some English-language medical places across top Polish universities and increasing interest from Irish students seeking alternatives to highly competitive CAO routes.
The revision and Q&A sessions will complement StudyMedicinePoland.com’s existing multi-week preparation programme and student support services. The programmes include:
According to the organisers, students who begin preparations before or immediately after the Leaving Certificate will be in the strongest position to secure interviews and offers before admissions begin closing during the summer.
“Many students and parents mistakenly assume applications to European medical universities happen later in the year,” said Artur Banaszkiewicz, founder of StudyMedicinePoland.com. “In reality, some Polish universities can fill places or close admissions surprisingly early. Starting now gives students a major advantage while also helping students strengthen their Leaving Certificate preparation at the same time.”
As part of the launch, students who sign up for support before mid May will also receive access to the new TuitionCentre.ie revision and tutor Q&A sessions.
