Introduction:
This one day CPD workshop is a practical introduction to the what, why, and how of research in psychotherapy aimed at encouraging openness, enjoyment, and authenticity through clear guidance, support and resources.
Course Content:
This course will address the ‘how’ and ‘why’ of research in psychotherapy with specific focus on the following: (i) how to find and recognise appropriate academic sources and literature, (ii) relevant research databases to consult, (iii) using key words to find relevant literature, (iv) referencing and (v) perhaps most importantly, why we engage in research within counselling/psychotherapy.

Entry Requirements
This course will be of interest to counsellors or psychotherapists in training, those returning to education or considering going into the field of counselling/psychotherapy. The course will also interest those looking to gain an introduction to research or will be commencing their first college degree.
Award: CPD Certificate of Attendance
CPD: 6 hours per workshop
