Vodafone Ireland is to create 113 new jobs to cope with increasing customer demand. -The new staff will be hired over the next year with 57 new permanent posts, five graduate recruits and 51 contract roles in customer service, technology and networks, HR, finance and sales and marketing.

Vodafone Ireland chief executive Anne O’Leary said the recruitment drive is happening to meet increasing customer demand and that expansion is being driven by increasing demand for mobile and data services.

“Recruitment is starting immediately,” she said. “The jobs will involve people across – technology, networks, customer service, marketing and sales.”

Vodafone currently employs 1,100 people in Ireland.
