The Role of Computer Science Support Centres
As we are now approaching one month until the event on March 8th, I am promoting “The Role of Computer Science Support Centres” workshop one last time. Please see the attached email for full details (it may have been missed as it was sent just before the Christmas break) and please share it with any colleagues who might be interested.
Full details of the event, as well as registration for it, can be found at the eventbrite link. If you are interested, please ensure you register as any future emails will only go to those who’ve signed up. We have a good mix of speakers from Irish institutions and CS backgrounds, as well from a mathematics perspective, including from our keynote, Dr. Michael Grove.
We still have space for 3 lightning talk speakers, these will be 5-minute talks and can be about a particular initiative you’ve tried, or a brief overview of the supports you or your department offer. Anything that would fit the theme of the workshop would be great.
If you are interested in giving a lightning talk, or have any other questions about the event, just send me an email and I’ll get back to you, and apologies if you receive this email through multiple sources.
