Manufacturing Engineering Certificate Pilot Programme a success for KCETB
12 general operatives from a number of manufacturing / engineering companies in Co. Carlow recently successfully completed their Certificate in Manufacturing Engineering (Level 4 award). The programme was delivered by Kilkenny Carlow ETB. See more.

Employers and Educators Working Together to Address Skills Shortages
A joint approach between employers and education providers is critical to meeting the skills needs of the South East region. This has become more feasible with flexible and blended modes of education and training delivery. Many successful examples exist across different sectors but much more needs to be done. Toys4Engineers is Back
Toys4Engineers is back for a 5th year to showcase the talent and innovation that exists within the engineering, tech and pharma industry on a national level. This years key themes are Automation, Robotics & Cobotics / Future Medtech & Biopharma / Digital Transformation & Security / Decarbonisation and the Green Deal / Engineering Careers – Make a Better World.

Technological University Project Receives a Boost
The South East is well positioning with the forthcoming formation of the multi-campus Technological University. The new TU will incorporate IT Carlow and WIT and will combine the strengths of both institutes to drive learning and development in the region.  See more here.
