Employer Skills Needs & Critical Vacancies 
Funding Supports in Response to Regional Skills/Training Gaps

Employers are asked to complete this short 5 question survey to determine difficult to fill positions and training requirements. Advice will then issue on Government funded talent development supports at both further & higher education in addition to grant funding for short industry specific training. The survey can be accessed here

Technological University of the Shannon Midlands Midwest -TUS was officially launched on Friday 1st October incorporating the former Limerick & Athlone Institutes of Technology. The new Technological University will help drive investment in the regions while contributing to our growing base of talent to meet industry skill needs.
Engine Collaboration Centre

Building on our reputation as a region that values collaboration the new Engine Collaboration Centre (ECC) located on Cecil Street will provide a platform for companies to engage in real world problem solving using digital and disruptive technologies. Digital Academy for Sustainable Built Environment - DASBE
Green Construction - Digital Skills - Circular Economy

DASBE is a unique collaboration of higher education institutes and industry partners with the shared aim to be agile and responsive to the upskilling needs of the construction industry. Employers and their employees will be supported in training in green construction, digital skills and circular economy through new courses. Elevate On Line ICT Talent Event
A Platform to Identify & Hire More Tech Talent

Code Institute is hosting Elevate, an online career and networking event for hiring partners and learners on October 21, 2021.It's a chance for companies to network with 400+ experienced and newly graduated software developers who are exploring opportunities. There will also be Insights Sessions with tech leaders from around the world and some informal meet-ups including a Coding Careers for Women forum. Employers can also showcase their own organisation and career openings at no cost and further details available here
