– Criteria and Guidelines for Programme Providers. This document concerns the content and methodology of the training and qualifications of guidance practitioners employed in the education sector, working with young people and adults. It is intended as a guide for university trainers of initial training programmes in guidance counselling to help them to design and deliver a curriculum and set of learning experiences (including placement, supervision and personal development programmes) that develop the necessary core competences for working as a guidance practitioner in the education sector.
