Applications are now open for a number of MIC's taught and research postgraduate programmes.

Take your career to the next level and choose from over 30 programmes in Education and the Liberal Arts at certificate, diploma, masters and doctoral level. Our flexible programmes are offered full-time or part-time with many delivered either fully online or blended (online and on-campus).

Application closing dates vary and more programmes will open for application in 2023.

MIC Open Day

The MIC Open Day will take place at our Limerick campus on Saturday 21 January (10am-1pm).

There will be talks taking place throughout the Open Day, which will give you an overview of the many postgraduate programmes on offer at MIC from diploma to doctoral level.

MIC lecturers and support staff will be on-hand to answer all your questions and you'll also get to tour our Limerick campus with current students.

Postgraduate Funding

Every year we offer a suite of funding supports to postgraduate students, which are designed to meet the real-world costs associated with postgraduate study.

These funding supports include our Research Masters and Doctoral Awards Scheme, Departmental Assistantship Scheme and Studentship Awards Scheme, as well as our Sports Scholarship Schemes.

Applications for MIC's Elite Sports Scholarships are now open. Applications for all other postgraduate funding awards will open in early 2023.

MA in Applied Linguistics

This professional development programme for language professionals can be taken full-time or part-time, and is delivered fully online or blended. Apply by 9 January!

MA in History

This MA can be taken full-time or part-time, and is delivered fully online allowing you the flexibility to study from anywhere in the world. Apply by 31 May!

Doctorate in Educational & Child Psychology

This three-year, full-time PhD programme will equip you with the knowledge and skills to pursue a career as an Educational Psychologist. Apply by 27 January!
