PPLI are currently recruiting associates for the 2024/2025 academic year. A PPLI Associate is a registered school principal, deputy principal, teacher, or a former school principal, deputy principal or teacher, who is engaged to work in a part-time capacity with PPLI to complement and extend the capacity of the service. Read More>>
The #ThinkLanguages Champion Team 2023 from Our Lady’s Bower recently visited Brussels; the languages capital of Europe, as part of their prize. Thanks to the Department of Foreign Affairs and their A Career for EU Strategy, the winning team saw first hand the possibilities for a career in the EU with foreign language skills. Read More>>
Languages Connect funding has been granted to seven heritage and lesser-taught language summer camps that will take place across the country this summer. The languages for this year's camps include Chinese, Japanese, Italian, Lithuanian, Polish and Portuguese. Read More>>
We are delighted to collaborate with Cavan Monaghan Education Training Board (CMETB) and H2 Learning on the Polish for Leaving Cert Blended Learning Project for which we have been awarded the European Language Label (ELL). The winning project combines online classes, face-to-face classes, and self-directed lessons. Read More>>
Registration is now open for Saturday language classes. These classes are available to incoming fifth years who will be sitting the Leaving Certificate in 2026. Leaving Cert Chinese, Japanese, Lithuanian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian and Russian are available. Read More>>
