Pepper to Create 100 new jobs for Shannon and Dublin - Pepper Asset Servicing has today announced that it plans to create 100 new positions over the next 12 months, with recruitment already underway for 50 roles.

Pepper is looking for experienced hires and graduates in areas such as mortgage arrears handling, customer services, real estate and legal. The new positions are being recruited initially for Pepper’s office in Shannon, where the company has just invested a further €0.5m in the significant expansion of its premises.

The job growth follows several contracts secured by Pepper including with CarVal Investors, Danske Bank, the National Asset Management Agency (Nama), and other recent portfolio mandates. The new positions are expected to bring total employment numbers to 270 by year’s end, with 170 in Shannon and 100 in Dublin.

“These jobs are being created in response to new business wins achieved by Pepper over the next 12 months, and to support our overall ambition to grow the business in Ireland with a view to becoming the leading independent asset manager and servicer of choice here,” said CEO of Pepper Ireland, Paul Doddrell.

“At the time Pepper was set up in Ireland, we signified our ambition to grow the company and take on more people across our business. Over the last 18 months we have been successful in securing several new contracts, with more opportunities in the pipeline so I am very pleased to be announcing these new positions.

“The additional significant investment in our Shannon office in particular reaffirms Pepper’s commitment to further grow its operations in Ireland, and in this context Pepper offers a unique opportunity to work with significant indigenous and international clients and to be part of a global company with exciting growth plans for the future.”

This week Pepper signed an addendum to its existing 10-year lease in Shannon, which will see its office space increased to 19,000 sq ft. The expansion and investment follows a €2m investment in new systems and office facilities undertaken last year as part of Pepper’s continuing growth in Ireland.
