BCFE Rock School student Lucy Blue signs to Columbia Records UK

BCFE Rock School celebrates the major label signing of current second year student Lucy McDonnell to Columbia Records in the UK. She is pictured (left) at the signing with label president Ferdy Unger-Hamilton (who has worked closely in the past with Ellie Goulding, Lana Del Rey, Haim and Michael Kiwanuka). Lucy is overjoyed with this exciting development in her career. Rock School Coordinator, Eamon Brady, says: “Lucy is one of the most talented young songwriters I’ve come across and I’m not one bit surprised there was such interest in her signature from the biggest labels in world music. All of us in the Rock School wish Lucy the very best of luck for the future. The sky’s the limit in terms of what she can achieve.” If you are interested in a career in Contemporary Music Performance or Songwriting why not consider applying to one of Europe’s longest-running and most successful performance courses. Applications open soon and you can apply here.
