This course will help learners develop key transferable skills such as critical thinking and creative problem solving through a focus on design as a fundamental process.  In addition, this course will allow learners to explore new materials, technologies, sustainability and landscape construction.

Pre-apprenticeship in Construction and Engineering Technology (QQI Level 5)

This is a pre-apprenticeship course which helps students prepare for apprenticeships in the construction and engineering sectors.

The aim of this programme is to enable the learner to acquire the knowledge, skill and competence required to work independently and under supervision in a range of construction and engineering contexts. Learners can also, on successful completion, progress to apprenticeships in construction and engineering and/or to progress to higher education and training.
