Meet our Postgraduate Experts

 

Last month we held two successful Meet the Experts - Postgraduate Live Online Q&A Information Sessions. Our postgraduate team gave key information on our postgraduate programmes and answered many interesting questions posed by the live audience.

 

The two live online sessions covered MIC’s Professional Master of Education (Primary Teaching) and our postgraduate programmes in Arts, Education, and fees, funding and scholarship options.

Meet the Researcher

GPA Scholarship Scheme

The MIC Gaelic Player Association (GPA) Scholarship Scheme is open to GPA members only who have applied for and are successful in securing a place in MIC’s postgraduate programmes in Education and the Liberal Arts. Two scholarships will be offered on an annual basis, with at least one being awarded to a female player. Applications are now open for 2024/25. Closing date for applications is 26 July 2024.

 

 

MIC Academic Awarded 300k in Funding

Dr John Morrissey Lecturer in Geography at MIC, has been awarded €300,000 in funding to lead the Irish stage of a European project, which is aiming to boost the transformation towards a climate-neutral, sustainable, productive, and competitive ‘Blue Economy’. The project funding comes at a time when the EU is trying to encourage discourse around blue economies, which promotes the sustainable use of ocean resources to benefit economies, livelihoods, and ocean ecosystem health.

Professional Master of Education (PME)

Mary Immaculate College is pleased to announce that we will be reopening applications again for the Professional Master of Education (Primary Teaching) from 27 May to 10 June. Prospective applicants can apply even though the TEG results will not be available until late June. There are 120 places available on the PME programme at MIC.
