McAree Engineering Ltd. has launched an apprenticeship programme for young and interested participants.
A team of seven new apprentices have just commenced their training. The programme has been described as offering ‘structured work-based learning’ to young people who have recently left school.
Brendan McAree, Managing Director has said “we are delighted to welcome these young men to join the McAree Engineering team – we were fortunate that we had a very high calibre of applicants to the programme and hope that they will all successfully complete their apprenticeships in Sheet Metal Work or Metal Fabrication.”
“This programme is another step in the ongoing development of McAree Engineering and brings to over 100 the number of people working within McAree Engineering across our two factories in Ballinode and Carrickroe, Co. Monaghan.”
The Apprentices are currently undergoing an induction programme to give them a good insight into what the company does in both its Sheet Metal Fabrication and V-Mac Silo manufacturing departments.
