We have had many new requests from Women and Men who have recently moved to Navan area so I hope the below will help you find some clubs that may help with building a new group of friends. You will also find loads of great courses and events taking place.

Navan Women’s Shed - Claremont, Navan -

So far, women in the group range from early twenties all the way up to their eighties. We are mothers, daughters, nieces, aunts, and grandmothers. Women all coming together for a common goal and a cup of tea. We will give women the opportunity to participate in various activities such as self-defence classes, car maintenance, sewing, special guest talks, and much more.

Our logo is a bunch of yellow roses. A yellow rose is a symbol of friendship. Yellow roses with their sunshine colour show the joy and happiness that friends bring into our lives, and as such, the yellow rose is a very appropriate symbol for our group.

Meath Partnership in conjunction with Age Action provide free 1-1 digital skills tutoring courses every Monday in our Kells office from 11am to 1pm. If you are interested in learning how to navigate your way through the digital world, please contact Angela on 086 8390448 or email [email protected]

AHEAD, in partnership with AONTAS, the National Adult Learning Organisation, and the National Adult Literacy Agency (NALA), are delighted to bring you GATHER, a free 3 day online assistive technology (AT) event.

If you are AT curious, an AT user or an AT advocate then ‘GATHER’ with us for this 3 day online Assistive Technology event by AHEAD. Join us as we all discover AT possibilities together - May 22nd-24th 2023.

Congratulations to Youth Work Ireland  Meath on their great work. A sneak preview of our new Youth & Community Project for local teenagers.
