In collaboration with the Department of Education, PDST, JCT, COGG, Léargas and teacher colleagues, Post-Primary Languages Ireland, is delighted to announce that early registration for the Languages Connect Summit 2023 is now open!
Unmissable Event
Taking place in the Convention Centre Dublin on October 14th, the summit will be the largest event ever held for language teachers in Ireland. With fifty-four diverse workshops to choose from, provided by teachers for teachers, the Department of Education agencies, and international experts, the summit will support you by enhancing your practice in your school, relevant to your students.
Tools and Strategies to Benefit the Teacher, School, and Student
Get your students talking, manage mixed ability classes, use new technology with your students, or get resources for TY. Explore how to promote inclusion, support EAL learners in your MFL classroom, or find out more about Content and Language Integrated Learning.
Tools and strategies to support increasing the profile of languages in your school will also be provided while leading keynote speakers, Prof Terry Lamb and Dr María Luisa Pérez Cañado, will present innovative content relevant to today’s context for teaching languages.
De-stress!
To top off the day, author and broadcaster Dermot Whelan will address the importance of wellbeing for all - the educator and the person.
