Leading international coding school to open in Dublin tomorrow

Wild Code School, one of Europe’s leading coding institutions, will officially open its first campus in Ireland tomorrow, Tuesday, 7th January.

Wild Code School will officially be opened with a panel discussion at 11.30am in The Digital Depot, The Digital Hub, Dublin 8, with panellists including:

  • Anna Stépanoff – CEO and Founder of Wild Code School;
  • Sonya Lennon, founder of Dress for Success Dublin;
  • Adam Hetherington, Owner of Binate Digital and freelance trainer for Wild Code School Workshops; and
  • Alec McAllister, Senior Executive, Technology Ireland at IBEC.

Wild Code School was founded in France in 2014, and now operates campuses in 24 locations across Europe, all offering five-month coding bootcamps aimed at meeting skills gaps in the tech sector in a rapid and responsive way.

Tomorrow’s panel discussion will focus on topics including current opportunities for those with coding skills in Ireland; why traditional education and training options in the tech industry are no longer fit for purpose; and promoting the participation of women in tech.

A photocall with panellists will take place at approximately 11.15am.
