There is a growing number of education and training opportunities available to employees at work. It is Government policy to support people in employment to upskill to ensure the economy remains competitive and keeps pace with technological advancements.
Many of these programmes are indirectly funded by employers through their contribution from employers’ PRSI to the National Training Fund. It is important that employers and their staff are aware of these opportunities and get the opportunity to avail of the array of upskilling opportunities that is now available. However, it can be very confusing to figure out what training & education programme to pick and who is the provider.
To help clarify this, the South East Regional Skills Forum has developed a new infographic which highlights the types of programmes for industry available from the various education and training providers.
