EuroPython (https://europython.eu/) is coming to Dublin on July 11-17 at Convention Centre Dublin.
They are the largest and old Python conference that travels around Europe visiting a different city every year or two. This is a great opportunity to connect with the Python community, and is open for all levels, even those curious about Python!
EuroPython is structured as follows:
There are talks tagged with Education as well as an Education panel, latter is being planned by the organisers.
Maker Fest (Wed Jul 13 - Fri Jul 15) is a dedicated open area with Makers showing their projects or running activities. Guest makers include folks from micro:bit (and their partners) all the way from UK, Northern Ireland Raspberry Jam from Belfast, TOG Hackerspace (Dublin), and the ever so awesome Makermeet.ie!
I'm still working to get more makers and educators to get involved, if you are interested, let me know.
You can find out about some of these activities and more via their latest newsletter: https://blog.europython.eu/europython-april-2022-newsletter/
Education tickets are available: https://ep2022.europython.eu/tickets
Also, there's free childcare onsite, and we have youth activities (with guest Makers mentioned above) accompanying parent/legal guardian conference attendee.
