FEI/WFSH Young Horse Championship Finals Lanaken Belgium & 3 Days Farm Visits Holland (Focus Show Jumping)
While enduring the current spate of inclement weather conditions, it may be a good time to plan something pleasant to look forward to later in the year.
Please find attached summary information of a planned educational tour to Belgium & Holland in September 2020. Deposits must be paid by Friday March 20th direct with Group Travel International with the balance by July 10th.
There are limited places on this trip. Booking is only open to those aged 18 years of age and older. Places are allocated solely on the basis of completed booking forms and deposits paid (with GTI), first come first served.
The outstanding performances of Irish Sport Horses at Lanaken in recent years have made being there an exceptionally enjoyable as well as informative experience. It is a melting pot of breeders, riders, and young horses from across Europe and a great place to network. The farm visits will encompass breeding and production enterprises, visiting a combination of larger commercial yards and smaller successful breeders. A more complete itinerary will be available in due course, for now a sample of the farms which are on board to welcome us are listed. This will be added to with a view to a diverse and interesting itinerary.
Typically days involve early starts leaving the hotel for anything from 8am and returning by 6pm, with a minimum of two and generally three farm visits per day. Lunch costs are not included in the price and are purchased locally. Jacques Verkerk will accompany the group Monday- Wednesday whilst visiting the farms (see attached flier).
