Dundalk Institute of Technology is currently offering virtual workshops for TY Students within Schools in the North East / South Ulster Region (Louth, Meath, Monaghan, Cavan and North Dublin).  The workshops range from weekly one-hour classes to a series of full day (4 hour) workshops.

Students engage in workshops covering

  • Web Development & 2D Animation
  • Music through Python and Machine Learning
  • Programming using micro:bits & learn JavaScript Code
  • Robotics and App Development

Participants are introduced to a topic and led through a series of tutorials and exercises to provide a grounding in the subject.  All workshops use online applications which do not require any downloads.  Students save their work throughout and can return to their projects at a later date.

If your school is interested in taking part, please get in contact with Philip Scanlon ([email protected]) and he will be able to make arrangements with the school.
