Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) are thrilled to report that a team of students from the MBS Masters in Entrepreneurship and Marketing at DkIT have been shortlisted as nominees for the International Strascheg Award, which forms part of the Start for Future co-creation summit. The team have developed an innovative business idea in their ‘Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice’ module, taught by lecturer Dr.Jennifer Fegan.
The successful team were chosen from 28 other teams to represent Dundalk Institute of Technology at the Start for Future summit which will be held in Munich on the 23rd and 24th May. The 4 students are Andrine Mendez, Elizabeth Ruane, Claudia Gradinariu and Oisin Finn. Their business idea is called “Plugable” and it aims to build a community powered electric vehicle network throughout Ireland and the EU.
The Start for Future (SFF) programme is a collaboration of universities, industry partners, ecosystem leaders, innovators, investors, policy makers and start-up supports from Germany and around Europe. The SFF programme is brought to Dundalk Institute of Technology by Professor Colette Henry, Head of Department of Business Studies.
