Professor Brian MacCraith, President of DCU responded to the release of the latest rankings,

“These latest QS rankings build on our consistent placement by QS in the top 50 of the 10,000 or so young universities globally, and recognise DCU’s commitment to providing quality education and research across a range of disciplines.  As DCU expands its Humanities offerings through the Incorporation of St Patrick’s College Drumcondra, Mater Dei Institute of Education and the Church of Ireland College of Education, it is encouraging to receive top rankings in the areas of Modern Languages and English Literature, key skills necessary for our students to compete in the increasingly global workplace.”
