This year we are delighted to launch our 10th annual College Awareness Week (CAW) taking place from the 20th-26th of November! CAW is a national event across Ireland which aims to help students learn about the experiences they could have at college and the subjects they may want to study. All students can benefit from this week, but it’s particularly important for students who may not have considered further and higher education before or may not know many people who have been to college.
Please take part in the fun and log your CAW event here!
We are also delighted to showcase “The CAW TY Challenge” . This initiative (founded in University College Cork and Munster Technological University) will see Transition Year students nationwide submitting a digital media project exploring further and higher education options. In the lead up to the launch of CAW on the 20th of November, we will be asking students from DEIS schools to submit their creative projects to CAW, MTU and UCC judges.
Information for students can be found here.
Three student groups will be awarded prizes such as class trips and vouchers and will have a nationwide stage to display their projects!
