In 2019, IICP received QQI validation for our Level 9 Certificate in CBT. This Minor Award is conferred at Level 9 on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) and evidences the rigour required for a quality programme of learning.
This 10-Credit Certificate is intended for qualified counsellors and psychotherapists, who hold either a Level 8 Degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy, or a Level 8 Degree in another field plus a professionally recognised Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. It is designed to foster knowledge, skills and competencies in CBT, allowing you to integrate this model into your clinical practice. The programme consists of both theoretical and clinical components. Learners must complete 50 hours of clinical work as part of the programme.
