Business with Logistics & Distribution course leads to the QQI Level 5 Business Studies award. This allows students to progress to all the University courses linked to this award.
This course is also perfect for the student who may not want to go on to University at present and would like to gain employment or perhaps complete a Logistics Associate Apprenticeship. We have a tremendous record with students going straight into these apprenticeships.
Students will learn about Logistics, which is arranging for the right product to be delivered to the right customer on the right day and time, in the right condition and of course for the right price!
Logistics is used in the majority of businesses in Ireland and throughout the world, and is a good transferrable skill for successful students to have when working within and outside Ireland.
The college is located at our new location in the City Centre Dublin 1 which make for an easily accessible location for students. Because the college is new we have all the latest technology and also a laptop loan scheme available for all students.

The well known Pre University Arts/Humanities course (from Killester College) has moved to the new Cathal Brugha FET College, D. 1. This long established course is aimed at students who want to progress to Third level, many of whom want to train as teachers but also aspire to areas such as law, policy, tourism or heritage. We have a strong record of graduates entering Third level ( four of the 2023 class have gained a place in Trinity College)
The programme is particularly suited to people with a keen interest in subject areas such as history, archaeology and folklore.
The course often attracts mature learners returning to education or retirees who wish to pursue their interest in Cultural Heritage.
This course is an immersive experience! -among the sites visited this year were Henrietta St. Living Museum, Marino Casino, The National Library of Ireland, The National Museum of Ireland, the Pro Cathedral & Crypts and New Grange.
Due to our new city centre location, the plan is to increase the number of outings to local heritage sites to maximise our proximity to the wealth and depth of Dublin’s historical centre.
