For students interested in studying Agricultural Sciences at UCD.
The UCD Agricultural Sciences Summer School is an excellent opportunity to explore the eleven exciting BAgrSc programmes on offer.
On arrival the Dean of Agriculture, Prof. Frank Monahan will welcome you and provide an overview of the UCD School of Agriculture and Food Science, the various programmes taught at the school and some of the highlights of our programmes such as the opportunity to Study Abroad and Professional Work Experience. You will have an opportunity to hear from some of our current and past students who will share their experience of studying at the school and we will discuss the wide range of career opportunities open to graduates.
You will then receive a tour of the campus before departing by bus to UCD Lyons Farm.
UCD Lyons Farm is a 280-hectare research farm located 40 minutes from the UCD Belfield Campus and forms an integral part of the teaching and learning experience at the school. Here you will take a tour of the farm, find out about some of the cutting edge research taking place at UCD Lyons Farm from staff who are international experts in their area of expertise. There will be an opportunity to chat with staff over lunch before returning to the UCD Campus in the afternoon for some additional activities.
