Adult Education Courses in response to Pandemic
Here are some upcoming courses that we have recently developed in CDETB Adult Education Service Ballymun as a response to the Coronavirus pandemic.
We are trying to reach out to Adults in the wider community who have become more isolated as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, and also to those Adults that may need to retrain or upskill. We have developed a FREE 3 week course called ‘Get Prepared’ that will help Adults to develop their Digital Literacy Skills (and other skills) so that they can use online technologies, which can then in turn help them to stay connected to their family, friends and community during the Coronavirus pandemic.Get Prepared 2020_compressed

As many of you will know there is often a big fear around returning to education for adults and what they believe they may, or may not be able for. We hope that this course can offer a supportive and encouraging place for adults to try out some classes for 3 weeks, build their skills and confidence, and ultimately assist them in dealing with social isolation through engaging with online technologies.
*Please note: All courses are free of charge and Social Welfare payments are not affected, or required in order to enrol on these courses.
