Why Choose UL?
The costs of living in Limerick are arguably the cheapest in comparison to many parts of the country. The University of Limerick has a number of different student villages on campus or within a short reach of the university. For more information go to http://www.studentliving.ul.ie/
Known as “Ireland’s Sporting Campus” the University of Limerick has many high quality facilities to help you excel in your sport. Munster Rugby is based in UL, which shows the standard of our facilities. Take a look here http://www.ulsport.ie/ularena/
After spending a few years doing a degree, it is important to consider your employability when you leave college. 72% of our graduates from 2016 are currently employed which stands at 12% higher than the national average (and consistently so!). It’s simple, UL grads get the jobs! http://www3.ul.ie/careers/
Do you excel in your sport? If so, you should consider applying for one of the scholarships offered by UL. They are offered across three different levels, Gold, Silver and Bronze.
Gold: Support towards a training grant, accommodation, registration, sports science support, coaching and gym membership. Valued at more than €10,000 per year.
Silver; Support towards a training grant, accommodation, registration, sports science support, coaching and gym membership. Valued at more than €5,000 per year.
Bronze; Support towards a training grant, sports science support, coaching and gym membership. Valued at more than €1,200.

Got a Question?
If you have any questions in relation to courses or entry requirements feel free to visit the Admissions Webpage at http://www.ul.ie/admissions-askus/kb/index.php.
Here you can browse through our FAQ’s including questions about entry requirements and the CAO. Your question isn’t listed? No problem! You can ask a question yourself by “opening a new ticket”. Either way the UL Admissions team will be happy to help with your query.
Choose work experience as part of every degree
“Co-op” or cooperative placement allows for students to gain insight into the working world and is an essential part of your academic programme. Co-op will provide a leg up for when you move from college life to working life. UL has associations with over 1,700 employers including KPMG, Alcatel and Glanbia – your placement will be invaluable when it comes to building your future as a university graduate.
