New Technology study skills programmes for all senior cycle students
Technology study skills programmes for all senior cycle students
AT Options are currently running technology study skills programmes for all senior cycle students to help them harness the power of everyday technology to make them more effective learners. The programme is designed to help students make effective use of technology both in their home and educational environments.
This programme focuses on 4 key areas:
1. Effective notetaking skills
2. Academic reading and writing skills
3. Time management/ Concentration/Organisational skills
4. Internet Research skills
The aim of the programme is to teach students to make the most of everyday technology to enhance their learning and understanding. We help students develop digital study skills that allow them to organise and access information more efficiently. We teach them to create effective study resources to better prepare for the leaving cert examinations. The programme also teaches essential academic reading and writing skills to ease the transition to 3rd level education
