As part of their ongoing commitment to supporting students of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths, the CEIA – Cork’s Technology Network is providing free maths tutorials for Higher Level Leaving Cert students between September and December 2017.
The tutorials will be given by Chartered Engineers and Scientists and will cover topics on the Higher Level Maths syllabus. The learning supports are best suited to 6th year students and are free of charge. Held in University College Cork, the maths tutorials take place on Saturday mornings from 10am to 12:30pm, starting on Saturday, 9th September 2017.
“We are committed to supporting students of STEM in Cork, through a number of initiatives that drive learning and understanding, in an engaging way, of technology, maths, engineering and science,” said Dr. Eamon Connolly, Electrical and Electronic Engineering Promotion Officer at CEIA – Cork’s Technology Network. “Our free maths tutorials have been running for a number of years, and students really benefit from the approach and the interaction with the practical application of the highest level of maths.”
