The Cycle Against Suicide Ambassador Programme is an exciting programme which allows schools to place mental health at the core of their school’s ethos and to receive recognition for work that is ongoing. There are already over 100 schools in Ireland involved in the programme. Please find attached our brochure for 2018.
Cycle Against Suicide is an organisation that was set up to combat the increasing problem of suicide on the island of Ireland. Our volunteers work tirelessly to promote the message that ‘it’s OK to not feel OK; and it’s absolutely OK to ask for help’.
Our organisation is built around positivity and working together towards a common goal. Along with spreading that message, you are developing the skills of collaboration, teamwork and creativity among your students.
This year’s Ambassador Award is focused on the five gears:
- Mental Health Education
- Project Work
- Community Engagement
- Get Active
